Dear Brylie,
My Thanksgiving break is coming up and I'm completely over-whelmed with all the homework and projects that I have to accomplish during it. I don't know if I'll be able to handle everything. Who knew High School would cause me this much stress? I'm just really worried about keeping my grades up before finals because I'm already behind on my work and I'm scared that if I need help from my teachers, they won't be there to answer my questions. I wish I could just relax over break and not have to worry about this much stuff. What should I do to handle this many assignments?

Dear stressed soul,
Looking at your list of assignments over break, you may be asking "How can the teachers do this to us?" or "How are we supposed to enjoy our break now?" Well, the good thing is that you you have an entire week to space everything out instead of a just weekend. With this being my 2nd year in a High School, I have learned that it's easier to work on homework little at a time. I don't think you should have to stress to much about getting the work done because whats more important is spending time with your family and enjoying every minute of it. When I was a freshmen, I had these same worries because I was in a new school, I wanted to maintain good grades, I didn't want the teachers to think that I'm slacking, and all I was worried about was school. After having an intense argument with my brother over whats more important, school or social life, I realized I just need to loosen up and go with the flowwww. I also found out that it doesn't take much to get help from teachers over break because funny thing is, there is this thing called email. Woah. I recommend spreading out the work throughout the seven days so that you aren't cramming the Sunday before you return. Take lots of study breaks, enjoy your family, watch movies, gain 20lbs from all the food, listen to music, go Black Friday shopping, and hangout with friends cause hey, maybe they are struggling too.
